I’ve brought friends here who are very picky with their coffee, and even they were impressed. But what makes Coasters Café truly special is the staff. “ Stopped by for evening tea with family and had a pleasant time overall. We ordered a turkey sandwich, a black tea, a ginger cookie, and a chocolate chip cookie. The highlight of the visit was definitely the tea—rich, perfectly steeped, and full of flavor. It really hit the spot and stood out from the rest of the items. The turkey sandwich was decent but nothing special—just your standard fare. Both cookies were okay but didn't quite impress; they felt a bit generic. Service was friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was warm and comfortable, making it a good spot to relax and chat. If you're coming for tea and a quiet setting, it's a great choice. For food, there’s room for improvement. ”

“ I got a Strawberry matcha latte, and a Breakfast Sandwich. Sandwich was moist and cheese is melted, heated/toasted properly and just enough to make the pastry not too dry. matcha latte is also as expected, sweet and earthy but not too sweet and not too strawberry, good balance and leaning more on the matcha taste which I preferred and liked. Great ambiance and atmosphere, good natural lighting while also cozy dark feel. Aesthetic interior. They have wall plug that I could charge my laptop just in-case, I was able to get things done in this environment. Great experience, good quick service too. Highly recommended. Ps. My wife got a hot chocolate that came in with a nice “latte art”, nice touch! ”

“ A fantastic place to grab coffee. Everytime I am down in New West I will go to this place and get a drink. Whether that is a mocha, spanish late or a london fog, these guys make them the best! The service is also great! Nice and friendly staff with nice ambience. Such an amazing place to go! ”

“ I live in New Westminster and just discovered this gem. First off, what a beautiful and cozy spot. Love the wooden tables and the tree murals on the walls. The whole theme is west coast and I just think it's so beautiful. The low lighting is inviting and relaxing. I got the Vancouver Fog Latte, it was perfect. Not overly sweet and potent tea flavor, not watered down. Got a matcha cream cheese muffin which was too good. My only ask, would it be possible to offer a few vegan options for food? Overall, I would definitely go back. ”
